(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - “The great revolution of the Iranian nation was created with definite objectives and, as an exception in history, keeps pursuing its goals and values without any deviation,” Imam Khamenei said on Wednesday in a meeting with university students in Tehran.
Imam Khamenei stressed that Iran's Islamic Revolution has remained adamant to its causes more than three decades after the victory of the popular revolt as the real manifestation of the revolution's “stability and steadiness.”
Imam Khamenei juxtaposed the Islamic Revolution in Iran with the French and Russian revolutions and the independence of the United States, describing the latter ones as popular movements that gradually deviated from their original causes to exploit their nations.
Imam Khamenei described the Iranian nation's resistance against its enemies as key to the success of the Islamic Revolution, and called on the Iranian youths to meet their historical mission of setting an ideal example for other Muslim nations in the world.
Imam Khamenei warned against enemy schemes against the Islamic establishment in Iran and called for greater vigilance on the part of Iranian students.
